This review is after two weeks of usage. Installation was relatively easy, including the FW upgrade. Printed instructions are awful. But some search on the Internet solved the problem. Do not experience delays. It’s working fine with my iPhone and my android phone. Usually no connection issues, experienced once a connection problem. Was a single event so far. . Bottom line recommend.
Works well in my VW Golf Alltrack. Speed is comparable to my wife’s 2022 Tiguan with wireless CarPlay.
Great CarPlay device. Don’t forget to unpair your phone from your car’s Bluetooth when you connect to the CarlinKit (via Bluetooth and WiFi) or it won’t work. Works great and the website to adjust settings and update the box is easy to use. I’ve had not issues connecting or had any dropouts so far - but I did the software update. Highly recommend.
